The distance of the major arc would be 5 1/3 pi.

I assume you are looking for the major arc, since you are given the minor arc.

The total circumference of the circle is 6pi ( C = pi(d) )

If the minor arc is 2/3 pi, we just subtract that from the total length of the circumference.

6 - 2/3 = 5 and 1/3
