Multiplying first equation by .5:
A) -4x -y = 27 then adding equation B)
B) 4x + 10y = 10
9y = 37
y = 4.1111111111

x =
-4x - 4.1111111111 = 27
-4x = 31.1111111111
x = -7.7777777778
