Many Jews migrated to Israel in the early 1900s because of an increase in anti-Semitic sentiments. 
A big reason was because their place of living was tearing apart. The government was not to trusted and literally their homes were slowly breaking. Many Jews had to leave into a more stable living. I hope this helped :)
