the coordinate of point B is (-3,2)

In order to dilate the point with a scale factor of 1/2 we need to multiplicate the scale factor by the coordinate-x and the coordinate-y

coordinate x

[tex]-3\cdot\frac{1}{2}=-1.5[/tex]

coordinate y

[tex]2\cdot\frac{1}{2}=1[/tex]

the coordinate dilate is

B'(-1.5,1)

the correct answer is b
