Why is multiplication and division rules of 1 and 0 different

because anything multiplied times zero equals zero. anything times one equals the number it was multiplied by

example :
multiplying by zero
10*0=0

multiplying by one
10*1=10

What the top person said and ind division divided in 0 it keeped the same and with one like 6 divided by one is 6 because 1 can go into 6. 6 times
