You want to keep everything even on both sides so is it’s like 2O + N -> 2ON (that is an unbalanced formula) you would want to but a 2 in front of the nitrogen so that it has 2 nitrogen on two sides (there is a lot more to this can you can ask more questions on comments but I’m going to bed)
