If Rachel's hair grows 3.5 inches in 6 months and there are 24 months in 2 years we can find the solution by multiplying 3.5 by 4. The answer is 14 inches

multiply the 3.5 inches by four an you will get your answer. This is because 6 months is half a year so 2 years is four half years.
