2(3y - 5) + 12y = -4

6y - 10 + 12y + 4 = 0

18y - 6 = 0

18y = 6

y = 6/18

y = 1/3

sub y = 1/3 into equation 1

x = 3(1/3) - 5

x = 1 - 5

x = -4
