Teenager brains are developing. The hormones in a teen's body are always high rate. Emotions are triggered very easily by that.

At the time of being a teenager you experience and feel different things with some of us it's a learning experience, so the only way to get out of a good or bad situation is to express emotions. (It's also healthy to let somethings out)
