Why doesn't sodium bromide conduct electricity when solid?

Sodium Bromide doesn't conduct electricity in its' solid state because the ions within it can not move. It does conduct when melted or dissolved, however, because the Na and Br ions are then exposed

It can't because of the sodium, Na+ ions and the Br-ions present. It does not conduct electricity in the solid state because the ions can not move.
