Two ways carbon can get from seashells to the atmosphere is through limestone, lithosphere, volcano, + atmospheric CO 2. The second way to get there would be through the oceanic CO 2, marine animals + plants, sediments, natural gas, power plants, and then atmospheric CO 2.
