4 is the x value so you just plug 4 in that x then isolate y.
3(4) - 5y = 2
12-5y=2
-5y = -10
y = 2

(4,2)

Just plug in x=4 because the first digit is x which is said to be 4
3(4)-5y=2
12-5y=2
-5y=-10
(-1) (-1)
5y=10
y=2

Plug y in
