Convection is the transfer of thermal heat in a fluid. The transfer of heat occurs due to the movement of fluids.This is the main mode of transfer of heat in liquids.
This may be classified as two types free convection and forced convection. Free convection is due to buyout forces and forced convection is due to stirrers,agitators etc.
