What is the slope of (4,-2)(2,4) ?

The slope between these two lines is -3.

In order to find this, we plug the two points into the slope formula below.

m (slope) = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

m = (4 - -2)/(2 - 4)

m = 6/-2

m = -3
